ANNOUNCEMENT

CALL FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST/

AND PRE-QUALIFICATION

Reference is made to the announcement made on 8 January 2009, seeking expression of interest from parties to prequalify for the establishment of a comprehensive public transportation system throughout the islands of the Maldives. In the referred advertisement, the deadline for submission of prequalification documents was started as 1 February 2009. However, the deadline for submission has now been extended until 14:00 pm on 1 March 2009.

Prequalification document may be downloaded from: www.transport.gov.mv/v2/dhathuru. Prior registration is not required.

Information requested in the prequalification document shall be submitted to the following address:
